*****Where do you work?*****

The National Archives of Finland

*****Tell us a bit about your background…*****

I´m currently finishing my PhD in history. My research interests focus on medieval written culture, diplomatics and codicology. I love reading, eating good food and cheering on my favorite ice-hockey team.

*****What is your role in the READ project?*****

 I’m responsible for our test and training collections and future crowd-sourcing projects. As a member of the Dissemination Working group, my job is to contact possible MoU-partners, organize workshops and spread the word about READ in Finland.

*****What is top of your to-do list at the moment?*****

 Organising upcoming Transkribus workshops, where I teach researchers and archivists to use the platform.

*****What do you like best about working on READ?*****

 The people, of course!

*****If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?*****

Librarian at the Bodleian library´s Special Collections! I would love to spend a day with their medieval manuscripts.

*****What can you see out of the window of your office? *****
