 READ-COOP

October 22, 2017

One of the READ project partners, the National Centre for Scientific Research (NCSR) ‘Demokritos’ recently participated in the 2017 [European Researchers’ Night](https://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/about/european-researchers-night_en) event held in Athens at the Cultural Centre ‘Hellenic Cosmos’.  Over 300 European Researchers’ Night events took place simultaneously on Friday 29 September 2017 in cities around the continent.

The team demonstrated several READ project technologies, including an interactive Keyword Spotting Tool for historical documents written in Old Greek. This tool will be presented at the forthcoming Transkribus User Conference!
